Listed below is a recap of the items discussed at the last Chapter
meeting:
Meeting was opened by President, Sandy Fouquette. Bruce Tyler introduced today's guest
speaker: Katherine Ladman, Waddell & Reed, presenting on "Financial Wellness in the Workplace".
1 hour of PHR/SPHR recertification credit was approved for this session.
The following agenda items were discussed in the business portion of meeting:
- A motion was made, 2nd and passed to accept the May meeting minutes.
- Treasurer reported a checking balance of $3,763.15 as of May 31st. Motion was made
to approve report, 2nd, and passed.
- Introduction of our newest member, Donna Felix out of Elk River was made.
- No meeting will be held in July.
- Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 to be held at Connections in
Big Lake at 8:00 am. A DVD presentation through SHRM Foundation on Succession
Planning at 3M will be shown with 1 hr/recertification credit given.
- Bruce updated us on our September joint meeting with the St. Cloud chapter. The
subject will be Ethics in Human Resources presented by Laurie McIntosh at Territorial
Golf Course. Additional information will be provided at a later date.
