Meeting:	North Star SHRM Chapter Meeting

• Meeting was opened by President Sandy Fouquette. Bruce Tyler introduced the guest speaker: Dianne Cutter from The Personal Records Vault. Dianne gave us a very informative presentation on business and identity theft. This was identified as one hour of PHR/SPHR recertification credit for those who attended.
  
  
• The 18th meeting was the rescheduled meeting from the 11th and was held at the Wellstead in Rogers. (This was a great experience for all that attended. A great facility and great Hostess, Jan Trushenski.)
  
  
  1. A motion was made and second to accept the February 11th meeting.
     
     
  2. We reiterated we need volunteers for the Elk River Expo.
     
     
  3. Sandy handed out information on an unemployment seminar along with information on the Ledbetter act, EFCA update, and ANSI recognizing SHRM as the HR standard.
     
     
  4. Bylaws review has been tabled until more members were present.
     
     
  5. The topic for the joint meeting with the CMSC will be Ethical Issues in HR.
