Listed below is a recap of the items discussed at our last Chapter meeting:
- Meeting was opened by President Elect, Renae Hauge. Bruce Tyler introduced today's
guest speaker: Jeff Johnson, Midwest Employment Resources. speaking on "Practical
Treatment for 10 Common FMLA Problems". 1 hour of PHR/SPHR recertification credit was
approved for this session.
- The following agenda items were discussed in the business portion of meeting:
- A motion was made, 2nd and passed to accept the April meeting minutes.
- Treasurer reported a checking balance of $4,175.15 as of April 30th. Motion was
made to approve report, 2nd, and passed.
- Bruce announced that our Chapter had received the 2008 Superior Merit Award.
- Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 to be held at Connections in
Big Lake at 8:00 am. Our speaker will be Katherine Ladman, Waddell & Reed, presenting on
Financial Wellness in the Workplace.

- Legislative Updates:
None at this time.
